Quantity Surveyor

Kennet Solutions is working with a well-known Civil-Engineering contractor looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Essex.

Company Information:

• The client is a major Civil-Engineering contractor currently involved in one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects after HS2


• They also are involved in projects all across the country

Role Information:

• Working on a £120m+ project in Essex 


• Works packages are a mixture of Building, Civils and External works 


• You will be responsible for managing a portfolio valued up to £30m, including sub-contractor package management worth between £5m-£10m


• Pricing and administration under the Main Contract and Sub Contract


• Assist in the preparation of periodic cost/value reconciliation reports 


• Identify risks and opportunities in the administration of commercial processes upstream and downstream 


• Monitoring of planned vs actual cost across disciplines 


• Timely issue of contractual notices and quotations under the project 

What the Client Requires:

• Civil-Engineering experience and knowledge of NEC contracts is necessary


• Can easily commute to Essex 


• Right to Work in the UK
