HSEQ Officer

Kennet Solutions is working with an expanding, family-run Highways & Civil-Engineering contractor looking for 2x HSEQ Officers to join their team in Essex.

This role is a great opportunity to work with a growing business and form the bedrock of their HSEQ function.

Company information:

• The company has been trading for 40+ years 


• They specialise in Highways-related civils works, including Term Maintenance Works, Surfacing, Carriageway Treatments and Regeneration Schemes


• Turnover of £30m+

Role Information:

• Ensure that the company's HSEQ policies, procedures and programs are respected 


• Conduct regular audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues and areas of improvements


• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation 


• Investigate incidents, identify & analyse root cause to prevent recurrence 


• Deliver HSEQ training programs to enhance staff awareness and competence in HSEQ matters

What the Client Requires:

• 1-2 years experience minimum in HSEQ is necessary 


• Experience in Civils and/or Construction (although Highways is preferred) 


• NEBOSH qualification is necessary


• Degree in relevant field is appreciated


• UK Driving Licence 


• Right to Work in the UK
